The Austin Daylily Society is excited to (finally, dang COVID) welcome Scott Elliott to Austin for a special Saturday afternoon guest speaker event. All daylily and gardening clubs are welcome to join! We’ll also be hosting a mini Auction with selections from Maneki Neko Gardens!!

Scott is a noted speaker with fun, entertaining and informative programs on a number of topics. He travels in excess of 100,000 miles a year giving daylily presentations all over the world. Scott is the 2020-2021 ADS President. He is also the author of Double Daylilies: Twice the Fun and continues to publish articles in the Daylily Journal and various Regional newsletters. He was also the editor of the new Daylily Exhibitions manual for exhibition judges.

As far as daylilies go, Maneki Neko Gardens specializes in show-winning double, spider and unusual form daylilies and any combination of the above with an emphasis on daylilies that will grow well over a wide geographical area. Scott and his wife Dominique also hybridize a large number of small and miniature daylilies, and a few extra large dayilies, usually by mistake. Basically, they work with any form of daylily, except large, fluffy, full-form singles.
